2. The performance and test requirements for product evaluation as well as the application procedure are also included in the ML. This will facilitate the suppliers who wish to seek listing of their products in the ML.

3. The Contractors may propose products not listed in the ML. However, the Contractor shall submit samples, test reports and other relevant information on the proposed product/supplier to the SO Rep for the SO Rep¡¯s consideration and approval. The proposed products may be subject to additional testing according to the required standards or as the SO Rep deems fit and all expenses incurred from the additional tests shall be borne by the Contractor.

4. The products in the ML have been subjected to a screening process by HDB to ensure that products used are able to meet the performance standards and statutory requirements. However, the ML shall not in any way relieve the manufacturers/suppliers, contractor and the SO Rep of their responsibility to ensure that the products comply fully with the technical specifications, standards, approved drawings and/or other statutory requirements.

5. Through the ML, we seek to enhance our control on the quality of products used in our construction projects. It complements the downstream control to be exercised by the SO Rep and Contractors during the project implementation. The manufacturers/suppliers have to implement quality control programs to ensure no deviations in the products quality and their performance requirements.

6. While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the products and data indicated herein, HDB shall bear no responsibility for any loss or damage caused thereby. For avoidance of doubt, the ML should not be relied on solely by any persons as a warranty or condition of the quality, title, fitness for any particular purpose, merchantability, suitability and performance (where applicable) of the products or services of the suppliers listed on the ML.

7. HDB reserves the right to review and make changes to or remove products /suppliers from the ML at any time without notice to the Contractors, suppliers and manufacturers.

8. The ML and any part thereof must not be used in any advertisement or publicity exercise without the prior written consent by the HDB.

9. HDB collects personal data from you to administer HDB's public housing programmes and services. We may share necessary data with other Government agencies, unless such sharing is prohibited by legislation. This is to enable us to serve you in the most convenient, efficient and effective way. We will NOT share your personal data with non-Government entities, except where such entities have been authorised to carry out specific Government services.
